Shamrock School Nepal is the name used because the school started in a hotel building called SHAMROCK. And the founder of the school, Duncan Cradden, is British of Irish father.
Shamrock was founded in March 2006 – the school anniversary is celebrated in St. Patrick’s Day.

Shamrock is a Secondary Boarding School – Secondary Education: children 10 to 16 –
Class 5 to class 8 is BASIC Level and Class 9 to 10 Secondary Level.
The capacity of the school is for 70 students, both genders and all castes. The average of students per class is 11/12 – A total of 6 classes.
